Reilly McKay is a director and filmmaker based in Pittsburgh, PA, and the founder of Rowdy Dawg Pictures, a production company he has run since 2017. His work moves between documentary, branded content, and narrative film, with a sensibility shaped by absurdist comedy and American folklore. A 2026 filmmaking fellow at The Andy Warhol Museum's Pop District, Reilly wrote and directed Stranger Danger, a folk horror dark comedy selected for public screening at the museum, and directed Atai Aituvarov | Filmmaker from Kyrgyzstan, a short documentary produced through the fellowship. Hitchhiking to Heaven, which he wrote, directed, and edited, earned a Best Drama nomination at the Couch Film Festival along with Gold Viddy and Platinum dotComm honors.
He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Saint Vincent College who studied Digital Art & Media.
